Tours of Vineyards, Wine Presses and Antiquities Sites in Tzuba during Shavuot |

Guests of the Tzuva Hotel will also enjoy musical events and special activities related to the area's history The tourism site in Kibbutz Tzuba offers a series of unique tours for Pentecost (Shavuot). Each Friday and Saturday as well as during the holiday of Shavuot, tours will be held, following diverse routes that bring the stories of the Bible and settlement during different historical eras. The list of tours includes a hike from Mount Tzuba to Ein Tsuba (the Tsuba Spring), during which participants will pass through the vineyards of the Kibbutz, meet ancient trees aged hundreds of years, visit an ancient wine press, observe the views and tour the length of an aqueduct along which the water of Ein Tsuba flow. Another tour, which will place at the same dates, will leave the hotel lobby to the cave of John the Baptist. On route, hikers will encounter a water system dated back to the time of Ezekias and findings that indicate that the cave was later used for rituals during the early days of Christianity. Each Friday there is a tour through the forest to the ancient wine presses located among the area's vineyards and orchards. At the end of the tour, participants can visit the Tsuba Winery shop and taste wines. During Shavuot, on June 9th 2008, at 17:00 there will be a musical tribute to the holiday. The program includes "Musical Fireworks" and classical pieces by Vivaldi, Schubert and others. At the end of the event there will be a cocktail party with wines and cheeses. On Friday, June 6th and on Monday June 9th, the hotel will hold special public brunches. Diners will be able to combine a meal with one of the tours.
