Promotional Clips of Israel flood by the Ministry of Tourism on the YouTube website

Dozens of films displaying the good aspects of Israeli tourism can also be found in the Travel-Shot.com file sharing website.

As part of the Ministry of Tourism's publicity activities over the internet, it has started encouraging uploading positive promotional clips of tourist sites to the "YouTube" website. Such activities come in response to video clips that have recently been published over the internet in order to damage Israel's image as a safe and attractive country for tourism. In addition to the available option of uploading tourism clips to "YouTube", the Ministry of Tourism started a web community at the Ministry's website, at the following address: community.goisrael.com. The ministry has also asked different Jewish organizations and communities that support Israel to join its struggle for Israel's image.

It is noted that for several months, there is an internet website that shares films of tourism, with a large chapter on Israeli tourism. The website, whose address is travel-shot.com, has dozens of clips that show hiking routes, views and tourism sites throughout Israel. In addition, this website holds the Israel tourism industry's Phototour contest, in celebration of Israel's 60th anniversary. As part of the contest, surfers from around the world are invited to upload films and photos of Israel's 60 years of tourism. The films and photos will be judged and rated by the public. Winners will enjoy hospitality in Israel including flights donated by El-Al and a 4-night stay at the Sheraton hotel chain .
