Pharaoh Circus Festival at the Timna National Park |

As part of the festival there will be performances of jugglers and acrobats, juggling workshops, guided tours and different activities A Pharaoh Circus festival will take place on April 21st-23rd 2008 at the Timna National Park near Eilat. The festival presents topics related to ancient times and to the Pharaoh rule of the area. Historical figures such as Cleopatra, Tutankhamen and other will appear during the festival, telling the story of the Timna Park while combining challenging and colorful circus performances. The performances will be held in a large colorful tent and on the shores of the Timna Lake and will include magic tricks, acrobatics, fire effects, balancing acts, trying to walk on stilts, juggling, tightrope walking and more. In addition, there will be activities such as filling bottles with colorful sand, making Biblical sandals, cycle workshops and nightly audiovisual displays as well as tours throughout the Timna Park and to additional sites such as Solomon's Pillars, the Arcs and the famous Mushroom.
