The International Spring Festival in Rishon LeZion during Passover

   

The festival takes place for the ninth year, and hosts an honorary delegation from Poland next to cultural performances of artists and troupes from around the world

The 9th International Spring Festival will take place on April 3rd-12th 2008. During the festival there will be dance, music and theater performances with the participation of artists from Israel and throughout the world. Most of the festival's performances will take place on the stage of the Rishon LeZion Hall of Culture (Heichal HaTarbut), but some performances will be held in Petach Tikva, Hertzliya, Jerusalem, Modi'in and the north of Israel. The festival's guest of honor will be a delegation from Poland which will include 70 artists from the fields of music and dance. The list of events includes an opening performance by the band Third World Revolution, a pop and rock vocal performance by The Magnets band from England, performances with the participation of the opera house of Tbilisi, Georgia, two concerts saluting Chopin - "Chopiana", a combined performance of percussion and piano with the artist Chen Cymbalista, a musical performance in "The Time Tunnel" with the Camerata Silesia, the Ego Tik dance performance from Spain with dancer and choreographer Asier Zabaleta, a jazz concert "A Journey to the Red Sea", a night of the songs of composer Sacha Argov with the New Israeli Quartet and singer Keren Hadar and more.
