"Tzav Pius" organization holds a trek along the Israel National Trail

The "Meeting on the Israel National Trail" trek takes place, noting Israel's 60th anniversary. It starts on February 25th 2008 and ends on the intermediate days of Passover.

The "Meeting on the Israel National Trail" trek takes place for the third time, initiated by Tzav Pius with the cooperation of the Society for the Protection of Nature in Israel and the Oranim Academic College. It is open to the public, with participants ranging from young to adults, religious and secular people, and hikers from all the social backgrounds in Israel looking to meet people, places and views in Israel. During the trek, participants will visit settlements and undertakings which have become milestones during Israel's 60 years.

The trek will start in Eilat on February 25th 2008 and will end in Tel-Hai on April 24th 2008. Joining the trek requires advanced registration through the website www.tzavpius.org.il.

The "Tzav Pius" organization was founded in 1996 by the Avi Chai Foundation in order to promote publicity for discussions between different populations in Israel, following the assassination of Prime Minister Yitzhak Rabin. Since it was founded, the organization holds different activities throughout Israel, including propaganda, and advertising and other campaigns. In this context, the trek along the Israel National Trail takes place.
