The International exhibition takes place for the second year, and is a professional meeting place for wine producers, importers, buyers, newspaper reporters, purchasing personnel and decision makers in the wine industry from Israel and abroad. The ISRAWINEXPO 2008 wine exhibition will take place on February 26th-28th 2008 in pavilion number 10 at the Israel Trade Fair and Convention Center in Tel Aviv. On the first day, it will be open for professionals only between 10:00 and 22:00. Entry is with a business card and by invitation only. At that date, retailers, food and drink managers, restaurateurs and other professionals are expected to participate. During the following two days, the exhibition will be open to the public between 16:00 and 22:00. Tickets will be available at the exhibition's ticketing office only. Visitors will also be able to purchase a wine tasting ticket which includes 10 coupons for wine tasting at the price of 49 NIS. The expo will exhibit a large variety of wines and wineries from Israel and abroad, emphasizing the display of Israeli wines, as well as wine accessories. At the same time, there will also be conferences and seminars on the subject of "special tastings" guided by George Riedel, the Austrian crystal wineglass manufacturer, wine and chocolate workshops, matching wines with the menus and more. As part of the exhibition, an exclusive business club will open, becoming a meeting place for promoting initiatives and projects in the future. Participation in the conferences requires registration in advance. The exhibition is organized by the Israel Trade Fair and Convention Center with the participation of the Wine and Gourmet Magazine, the Grape Man and the Israel Export and International Cooperation Institute, sponsored by the Ministry of Industry, Trade and Labor, by the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development and by the Wine & Grapes Council.
