The festival offers Ethnic Accommodations and Cuisine. He will take place during the 4 weekends between February 15th and March 8th 2008. During the festival, tourists and hikers will be able to enjoy visiting the booths of cooks cooking in different flavors in the moshavim and kibbutzim as well as to go for nature hikes, tour artists' houses and pass the time in the different attractions. The Rural Food Festival in Yoav-Yehuda takes place for the 8th year. Restaurants, Wineries, sheep farms, private residents' kitchens and rural tourist sites all take part in this festival. The Yoav-Yehuda area is characterized by settlements populated by people from different ethnic backgrounds. Therefore, visitors can enjoy authentic cuisine and a diverse cultural atmosphere. This year, the festival emphasizes the participants' connection and commitment to nature, including delicacies made by different ethnic cooks from wild herbs, berries, mushrooms, leaves and fruit that grow in the area's mountains, valleys and gorges. During the festival, 60 different sites will open their gates to visitors. There will be a wide variety of activities and events for the entire family. There will also be tours through parks and nature hikes, different musical events, and local artists will tell about their work during visits to museums and workshops. The Yoav-Yehuda region is in the area south of the Jerusalem - Tel Aviv road and north of Kiryat Gat, between the Mediterranean on the west and the Judean Mountains on the east.
