Flight Route from Tel Aviv to the Upper Galilee has Reopened |
|
|
The Ayit Company holds flights to the northern parts of Israel after a 3 month break in the flight route operations. The renewal of flights between the Sde Dov Airport in Tel Aviv and the Mahanaim Airport in the Upper Galilee became possible after the Ayit Company won the tender instead of the previous operator, the "Tamir Air" company. Ayit will hold three daily flights in each direction on Sundays through Thursdays, using DHC 6 planes with 18 seats. A one-way flight costs 260 NIS per passenger, but residents of the north of Israel will pay only 185 for such a flight. Ayit is a private flight company, established in 1984. It has previously operated flight routes to the Golan Heights, Arad, Beer Sheva and Eilat. It also holds special tourist flights, which require an order in advance. The company operates an online sales website - www.fly.ayit.co.il, through which orders may be booked. Orders may also be placed by phone - 1-700-704-555.
