Israel's International Tourist Fair Over 800 Tourist Bodies will be Presenting

   

20,000 visitors are expected at the IMTM fair which will take place on February 5th-6th 2008, including travel agents from around the world.

The IMTM (International Mediterranean Tourism Market) fair is the largest international event of Israeli tourism, and one of the leading fairs in the Middle East. It takes place in the Tel Aviv Trade Fair and Convention Center for the 14th consecutive year. It spans over 5,300 square meters. Over 800 tourist bodies from Israel and many other countries around the world are expected to be presenting in the fair, including representatives from leading tourism countries such as the Czech Republic, Ireland, Turkey, Cyprus, Greece, Hungary, Germany, Spain, Portugal, Italy, South Africa, Morocco, Georgia, Hong Kong, Korea, Thailand, Singapore, Guatemala, El Salvador, Nicaragua and others. In addition, large tourist bodies in Israel, representing different sectors of Israeli tourism and many local tourist sites will participate in the fair.

Nearly 20,000 visitors are expected at the fair, including many from the various professional tourist fields. Among attendants will be 450 travel agents from 10 countries. The fair's expositions combine outbound tourism from Israel, inbound tourism to Israel and internal tourism. The fair will start with a meeting of leading professionals in the Israeli tourist industry, attended by ambassadors, representatives of the press and the heads of the Israeli Ministry of Tourism, including the Minister of Tourism, Mr. Yitzhak Aharonovitch. During the fair there will be different events, professional conferences and prize raffles to the audience.
