"The Holiday of Holidays" Festival will Take Place during December |

The festival combines events of the three major religions in Israel, Judaism, Islam and Christianity, celebrating their holidays. Events of the "Holiday of Holidays" festival will take place during the weekends of December for the 14th consecutive year. The festival intends to nurture tolerance among believers of all religions through culture and art. It takes place during December, in which the holidays Hanukah, Christmas and Ramadan take place, drawing tens of thousands of visitors annually. The list of events that will take place during the festival includes the "Hard Labor" exhibition in the gallery of Beit Hagefen and on the streets in which the festival takes place. The exhibition deals with the whole of the chores performed by women. In addition, the nearby Haifa Museum will display the "Boyscraft" exhibition. This exhibition includes a collection of plastic art pieces, videos, paintings, photographs, sculptures and installations. Additional exhibitions taking place during the festival are: "Man at Work", "Tea on the Casino Balcony", "Sculpture in Academy Square" and "Hand in Hand". In the fields of poetry and literature, visitors to the festival will be invited to routes that deal with the authors Emile Habibi and Sami Michael, the song writer Ehud Manor and the poets Hanna Abu Hanna, Dahlia Rabikovich, Naim Areidi and Miron Isakson. In addition, concerts of liturgics music will be held in churches and halls in Haifa, and there will be special programs for children, outdoor events and an art fair, and the scouts will hold a parade.
